Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born in a poor Dalit caste family, due to which he faced a lot of caste discrimination in his life. The entire family of Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar had to face caste discrimination and was considered untouchable.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar suffered many insults by many Brahmins and society in the upper class and even during his education, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was seated separately and outside the class due to caste discrimination and had to suffer a lot of humiliation, was not allowed to touch anything.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was also called ‘Baba Ambedkar’. In his entire life, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar faced caste discrimination everywhere and Ambedkar’s family also had to face social and religious discrimination throughout his life.
The earlier caste system was such that no one should not consider a person according to his / her status, duties and rights, it was seen in society only on the basis of his caste. And at that time people in every lower caste have to suffer a lot of humiliation and dishonor.
Then Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar had decided that it is very important to end such caste discrimination and religious beliefs in the society. And Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar believed in the unity of people of all castes and all people got equal respect by seeing their duties and abilities.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar completed his studies by paying full attention to his education and Started a legal business as he decided to officially eliminate cases of caste discrimination by Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar started his struggle to give equal rights to all castes completely and move ahead in this work. During this time Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar also established many movements. So that people of all castes get the right to live life in a way and do not face any humiliation.
Early life of Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born on 14 April 1891. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born in the Mahu Nagar military cantonment of Madhya Pradesh. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar’s father’s name was Ramji Maloji Sakpal and his mother’s name was Bhimabai Murbadkar Sakpal. Bhimrao Ambedkar was the 14th child of his parents.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born into a family of a ‘Mahir’ caste which was considered untouchable by the upper castes and society at that time.

Because of which Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar and his family had to suffer a lot of caste discrimination and humiliation socially and economically.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was very skilled and intelligent in their studies since childhood. But due to caste discrimination, untouchability, and social discrimination, he had many difficulties during education.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Education and Early Life
Ambedkar was born in a very poor family of Dalits. From childhood only he has seen the discrimination for water for education. he saw the struggles of the untouchables. Even when he was going to school he could see the discrimination for education as well.
As he was Dalit so teacher use to separate him from him. other children and if any doubts were there then also teacher would refuse from helping them…and they were also not allowed to sit in class they were treated as if they are nothing…and every when they want water from the well they need to get permission from the upper class to pour the water in their vessels that to from a height they were not allowed to even touch that..well.
After gaining the doctorate from the University of Columbia .he marked his presence by a well-known scholar in the fields of economic professor and a reformer with the passion to change India to transform India.
And hence for this transformation, he joined the political careers and he remarked himself by great position and raising the dignity of the parties..and later he started camping and negotiation for the rights of the Dalits as well as for women and labor…of the society..he even started opinionating through his barrister to give justice to the daily people and started publishing journals and advocating for the political rights of the people..for this numerous social works for the people he was awarded the Indians highest civilians award Bharat Ratna in 1998.
Child marriage was prevalent at the time of Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, so at the time when Bhimrao Ambedkar was 15 years old and when he was studying in 5th standard, he was married to a 9-year-old girl and her name was Rambai.

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar’s struggle against caste discrimination
When Ambedkar himself had faced things like caste discrimination and untouchability in his life. And after going through a lot of humiliation and hardships, Ambedkar took his step forward against caste discrimination. And decided to end it and struggled a lot for it. Therefore, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar once said that “Untouchability is worse than slavery”.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, after completing his education, officially and legally started the fight against caste discrimination. And all people should not be seen as caste in this society, they fought a lot for this. In 1927, Ambedkar had also started an active movement against untouchability and caste discrimination.
Construction of constitution of India by Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar
On 15 August 1947 after India gained Independence, At that time, the government invited Ambedkar to serve as the country’s first law and justice minister and Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar also gave his approval for this. On 29 August 1947, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was also appointed to create the new Constitution of independent India.
Ambedkar was also very good and intelligent in education from childhood. Therefore, when he was appointed to compose the constitution, he also appeared as an intelligent scholar expert. Even at the time of the creation of the Constitution of India, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar had studied the constitution of about 60 countries. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar is also honored as the ‘Father of India’s Constitution’.
Death of Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was suffering from diabetes in 1948 and started living ill. On 14 October 1955, Ambedkar and all his colleagues adopted Buddhism. On 6 December 1956 Ambedkar died.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar also received his Ph.D. education, due to which he is also known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. And Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar did a lot of good work in his life and also created the Indian Constitution.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar fought a lot in India against caste discrimination and Freed people from their caste discrimination and gave all people their rights. After much struggle, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar made his place in India with full respect.
Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar is one of the most respected people of India. And came out as a very respected Indian politician and also became a very popular philosopher and writer.
Even today people celebrate Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar’s birth anniversary with a lot of respect and people treat him very respectfully. Among the great leaders of our country, Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar also comes in all of them. and he was also honored with many honorable awards.
